Application

HPMC is one of the main dispersants in the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) industry. During suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride, it can reduce the interfacial tension between vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and water, helping VCM to disperse uniformly and stably in aqueous media; Prevent VCM droplets from merging in the early stages of the polymerization process; Prevent aggregation between polymer particles in the later stages of the polymerization process. In suspension polymerization systems, it plays a dual role of dispersion and stability protection.
